In late 2019, I joined the Eugene Marathon as their first full time in-house marketing person, as they shifted away from an agency. It was a helluva time to enter the mass events industry, with Covid completely reshifting the world a few months later.

But what it offered was an opportunity; to think out-of-the-box, tap into the history and heritage of Tracktown USA in different ways, and create industry defining experiences that forever changed the future of the race.

Then, when we came back in-person in 2022, it was the Finish Line of a Lifetime.
